FSC 223 - Legal Aspects of the Fire Service

Prerequisite: This course requires successful completion of PCS 021  to enroll, or appropriate placement exam score.

Description: This course introduces the Federal, State, and local laws that regulate emergency services, national standards influencing emergency services, standard of care, tort, liability, and a review of relevant court cases.

Lecture Hours: 3
Notes: This course will be retired in the fall 2018-19 academic year.
