PTA 202 - Physical Therapy Modalities
Prerequisite: PTA 101 , PTA 103 , PTA 200
Corequisite: PTA 203 , , ,
Description: Stages of inflammation responses and tissue repair are studied. Theories on pain are investigated. Application and documentation of superficial heat and cold, ultrasound, electromagnetic radiation, massage, hydrotherapy, light intermittent venous compression, and traction are practiced. Indications and contraindications for treatment methods are scrutinized.
