HES 113 - Medical Terminology

Prerequisite: Appropriate score on assessment test or successful completion of PCS 021  and TRE 089 

Description: Presents a study of basic medical terminology. A programmed learning and word-building system will be used to master common medical terms. Emphasis is placed on spelling, definition, usage and pronunciation. Commonly used abbreviations will be used and practiced.
