PCS 033 - GED Preparation


Prerequisite: Must be at least 16 years of age and not in high school. Successful completion of PCS 010  and appropriate score on TABE or failure to pass one or more sections of the Official GED Test.  

Description: Group and individualized instruction prepares the student for the GED exam. Areas of study include 9-12 levels of math, language arts (reading and writing), social studies, and science. Student progress through the course based on a customized education plan which identifies only those areas necessary to study.

Credits: 3
Lecture Hours: 3
Notes: Grading is “S” (Satisfactory) or “U” (Unsatisfactory), or “PR”(in progress). On-campus classes require attendance.
