PTA 200 - Patient Mobility Techniques
Prerequisite: TRE 089 and TRM 091 or MAT 101 or appropriate score on placement exam. Admission to the PTA program.
Corequisite: PTA 101 , PTA 103
Description: Introduction into patient management do include mobility, communication, documentation, and management of patient medical records. Principles and techniques of mobility training and patient positioning with therapeutic activity, gait training, and wheelchair mobility are practiced. Foundations of therapeutic exercises with patient care are introduced and practice.
