Prerequisite: Multiple measures discussion, or appropriate score on placement exam, or MAT 142  or MAT 151  with a ‘C’ or better

Description: Investigates the basic concepts and techniques of descriptive and inferential statistics, including summaries and displays of data, measures of central tendency, variation and dispersion, probability and probability distributions, estimates and sample sizes, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression and statistical decision-making using critical thinking skills.
