Engineering, AS (ENGRD)

The Associate of Science in Engineering prepares the student for transfer to a university Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. The program develops a strong foundation in mathematics and physical science and provides an introduction to the fundamental aspects of engineering. Students wishing to transfer to four-year institutions will have the academic foundation applicable to various engineering disciplines including civil, chemical, computer, electrical, geological, mechanical, metallurgical, mining, computer science, and engineering physics. The Engineering program is located on the Neal Campus in Kingman; however all course work (except lab components) can be done from any MCC campus via hybrid courses.

Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.

There are two options depending on the focus. After consulting with a student services specialist, choose either the Mechanical or Electrical focus of the discipline in order to completely satisfy the Engineering Core Requirements.
