Dental Assisting Certificate (DAE.CT)

The Dental Assisting Certificate program prepares students for employment as dental assistants. The courses include lecture, lab, and clinical components. Students will satisfy clinical and lab requirements in the MCC Dental Clinic as well as in dental offices in their respective communities. The Dental Assisting program is located on the Bullhead City Campus in Bullhead City.

Prerequisites

  • Students must show appropriate abilities through multiple measures discussion, or by placing into ENG 101  and TRM 091  on the assessment test, or completion of PCS 021 , TRE 089 , and TRM 090 .

Requirements for Graduation

No D or F grades in any program required courses and completion of all field of study courses with a “Cor better.

Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
