NUR 115 - Nursing Assistant

Prerequisite: Appropriate score on assessment test or successful completion of PCS 021 and Healthcare Provider level CPR

A comprehensive course to provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform in the role of nursing assistant or home health aide. Principles of human biological sciences, communications, nutrition and nursing science are incorporated throughout. Students will be able to provide personal care services and assistance with activities of daily living to patients within a clinical setting.
