Description: An introduction to the major philosophers (ancient, modern, and contemporary), history, theoretical perspectives, and central topics in the discipline of philosophy. Topics covered include human nature, reality and being, the existence of God, truth, ethics, sources of knowledge, social philosophy, the meaning of life, and other philosophical topics.
