RAD 140 - Radiographic Positioning II with Lab Prerequisite: Successful completion of the previous semester.
Corequisite: RAD 140L and , , are in the same cohort and must be taken during the same semester.
Description: The student radiographer will be introduced to the radiographic examinations of the vertebral column, and skull to perform quality radiographs; students will also assist the radiologist, and physicians operating fluoroscopic equipment and the C-arm in gastrointestinal studies and special procedures. Content explores identifying anatomy of radiographic images; ability to critique images for appropriate technical, procedural and pathological factors and correct equipment malfunctions.
