MAT 231 - Calculus with Analytic Geometry II MAT 2230
Prerequisite: Completion of MAT 221 with a grade of “C” or better.
Description: Calculus II extends the study of differential and integral calculus to functions defined using parametric equations, polar coordinates, and power series. The course explores various advanced techniques of integration, as well as applications of single variable calculus to science, engineering, probability, and first-order differential equations. Infinite sequences, series, and their convergence are also highly emphasized.
