Lean efficiency emphasizes reducing the eight types of waste: defects, overproduction, waiting, non-utilized talent, transportation, inventory, motion, and extra processing. SMART goal processes and Continuous Improvement concepts are learned and practiced. Lean process reduces waste and enhances safety and creates a more productive work environment. Create more value for your customers with fewer resources, identifying fractures in processes and adjusting to meet the need creates efficiency. 5S, Continuous Flow, MUDA (waste), PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping are the basic concepts that if learned, become a way of monitoring and measuring any process that is part of your operation.
