CMEDHW 0006 - Tai Chi Simplified Yang


 

There are many styles and forms of Tai Chi. This class will learn the Simplified Yang 24 Form, Section 1 and part of Section 2.

Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that encourages stress reduction and improves balance, strength, and flexibility. Tai Chi movements are performed in a slow, focused manner. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements and deep breathing techniques.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring water for hydration.

Previous experience is not required.

Beginners are welcome!
