CMEDTR 0004 - Welding Fundamentals

Students will learn welding safety, shop tools, proper machine setup, as well as foundational techniques for one or more of the following welding processes.

Students may choose one or all of the following:

• gas tungsten arc welding
• gas metal arc welding
• shielded metal arc welding
• flux cored arc welding
• Oxyfuel cutting
• plasma arc cutting

Students will apply the skills learned to complete a project.
