The Welding Technology, Level I (Entry Welder) Certificate is based on the American Welding Society (AWS) Schools Excelling through National School Standards Education (SENSE) guidelines. Mohave Community College is a SENSE Participation Organization and is approved to train students for this certification. This certificate includes the 100-level welding courses required to prepare a student for a position as a Level I Entry Welder in the welding field. The Welding program is located on the Neal Campus in Kingman, and at the extended campus located at River Valley High School in Fort Mohave, Arizona.
Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
