Computer Science, AS (CSD)

The Associate of Science in Computer Science prepares the student for transfer to a university Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. This program includes studies in multiple programming languages as well as an extensive examination of Object Oriented Programming concepts. The AS, Computer Science degree also includes the Associate of Science Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC-S) requirements (including upper level math, science, arts and humanities, and social sciences) to give the student a well-rounded perspective. Note: Students are encouraged to consult with a student services specialist concerning the Section F options of the AGEC-S. Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
