The Nursing Assistant Program consists of a six-credit Nursing Assistant course designed to prepare the student for the Arizona Board of Nursing Assistant Certification Examination. Students must have an appropriate score on placement exam or completion of PCS 021 with an ‘S’. Prior to clinical assignments, students must have a Healthcare Provider level Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card, acceptable background check, meet the physical requirements for the course, and other important documentation. Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
