Computer Graphics and Web Design Certificate (WEB.CT)

The Computer Graphics and Web Design Certificate prepares students for positions in business and industry, including positions that require enhanced knowledge of computer graphics, desktop publishing, and web page design. Many of the courses in this certificate program can be applied to the Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Graphics and Web Design. Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution. 

 

Program Student Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: 

1. Design web sites that include graphics, hyperlinks, and formatted text that are best suited to the defined target audience. (1, 2, 4, 6)

2. Apply the features of standard application packages, such as digital imaging and desktop publishing software, to produce brochures, catalogs, and web images. (5, 6)

3. Evaluate software alternatives when planning a graphic project within the system development framework. (3, 5)
