Production Welding Certificate (WPR.CT)

The Production Welding Certificate introduces students to the methods and techniques required to work in the production industry. Students will learn shop safety, shop math, shop tools, basic print reading, fabrication from prints, multiple process metal cutting, welding with GTAW, and GMAW processes.
Program Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the program students will be able to:
- Apply Safety protocols. (2,3,6)
- Utilize blueprints and shop drawings. (1,2,3,5,6)
- Perform cutting techniques used in the industry. (1,2,3,5,6)
- Differentiate visual criteria from multiple code standards. (2,5,6)
- Utilize welding processes in accordance with IAW industry standards. (1,2,3,5,6)
- Design projects in accordance with IAW industry standards. (1,2,3,5,6)
- Fabricate projects IAW industry standards. (3,5,6)
