Network Support Certificate (NS.CT)

The Network Support Certificate program prepares students for a career in the fast-growing IT field by providing the skills needed to design, implement, troubleshoot, and secure computer networks. Through hands-on training, you’ll master the installation and configuration of network hardware, software, and operating systems, while also developing strong professional communication and client support abilities. Program Student Learning Outcomes: 
Upon successsful completion of this program students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate competency in computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, and apply fundamental software concepts and troubleshooting techniques. (3, 5, 6)
2. Design, code, test, and debug programs using programming languages, applying appropriate programming principles and data structures. (3, 6)
3. Configure, secure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs) by determining appropriate network topologies, addressing schemes, and routing protocols (6)   
4. Implement and manage network security measures. (3, 4, 5, 6) 
5. Articulate verbal and written technical information clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences. (2)
