PTA 214 - Electromodalities

Prerequisite: PTA 101, PTA 103, PTA 200

Corequisite: PTA 202, PTA 203, PTA 205,

Description: This course provides the opportunity for the physical therapist assistant student to develop knowledge related to the principles of electricity, electrotherapy, and electromagnetic radiation therapy for selected treatment modalities. Use of electrical modality equipment utilized in physical therapy settings will be discussed and practiced.
