Electrical Technology-Commercial/Industrial Electricity (ELCIC)

The Electrical Technology–Commercial/Industrial Electricity Certificate prepares students for employment in electrical installation and maintenance in commercial or industrial settings. Students learn safety protocols, proper wiring techniques, how to calculate loads, proper installation and maintenance of low-voltage controllers, and programmable logic controllers. 

This certificate is designed for students who have either completed the Residential Wiring Certificate OR who are or have been in the workforce and have 4000 hours of documented work experience in residential electricity as an electrician helper or higher. 

This course is a competency-based program and requires a grade of B or better in each course in order to progress to the next course or set of courses.

This program is offered on the Neal Kingman Campus in Kingman.

Competency Based Education operates under the MCC Student Handbook and the CBE Student Handbook
