BUS 206 - Microeconomics


Study of how individuals make consumption decisions and firms make production decisions and how those decisions determine the allocation of scarce resources in product markets and resource markets. Course covers: price elasticity; consumer choice and demand; firm’s production and costs; perfect competition; monopoly; market failure; externalities; public goods; income distribution; income redistribution; and poverty.
