ECE 113 - Principles of Child Development and Curriculum Application of the fundamental principles of child development to effectively design and implement curriculum which promotes development of the whole child. Introduction to methods and materials to assist young children in the learning process with an emphasis on the arts, movement, dramatic play, technology and sensory activities, all within the context of creativity, observation and developmentally appropriate activities. Assessment strategies used to support children’s learning are explored.
