EDU 200 - Children’s Literature

A survey of children’s literature focused on grade PreK-8. This course includes the study of a variety of popular children’s authors, illustrators, and genres, and is designed to enhance students’ appreciation and analysis of literature with a focus on how to effectively choose and implement children’s literature in educational contexts. This course requires additional and outside reading of a variety of children’s literature titles, a library card is reccommended.

Prerequisite: ENG 101 with a C or higher
