ELC 115 - AC/DC Theory This course reinforces the safe handling of electricity by introducing the student to the basic scientific principles occurring in the use of electrical energy. It includes a study of circuits and measurements, alternating current, three-phase power, transformers and their uses, and AC and DC motors and generators.
Credits: 4 Prerequisite: Multiple measures discussion, or appropriate score on placement exam, or completion of ABE 021 and TRM 090 .
