PTA 106 - Advanced Patient Care for Rehabilitation

The course will provide students with an advanced understanding of the skills to function in a rehabilitation setting. Students will develop a greater understanding of the impact human pathology has on recovery, the assessment tools used to assess patient status, and mobility equipment used in the rehabilitation environment, and medical record system.

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: PTA 100, PTA 102, and PTA 104 each with a grade C or higher, or prior approval from PTA Program Director.
