PSY 289 - Contemporary Social Problems and Relationships - Capstone


This course analyzes current social problems and their impacts on relationships. Issues to be explored include inequality, poverty, racism, alienation, family life, sexuality, gender, urbanization, work, aging, crime, war and terrorism, environmental degradation, and mass media. This course requires students to work with faculty mentors and members of regional behavioral health community organizations to gain employment opportunities.

Prerequisite: PSY 101  ,PSY 110  
Corequisite: SOC 133  , PSY 270
