HUS 312 - Assessment and Treatment of Addictive Disorders


This course explores the methods of assessing and treating individuals with addictive disorders. Students will learn evidence-based approaches to treatment, including assessment techniques, treatment planning, and relapse prevention. The course covers various models of addiction and recovery and examines the impact of co-occurring mental health disorders. Ethical and legal issues in substance use counseling will be addressed.
