HUS 332 - Crisis Intervention


This course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective crisis intervention in human services. Students will explore the theories, principles, and models of crisis intervention, including strategies for responding to individuals, families, and communities in crisis. The course emphasizes cultural competence, ethical considerations, and the use of evidence-based practices to support individuals facing trauma, mental health challenges, and other crisis situations.
