WST 101 - Introduction to Women’s Studies


Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENG 101  with a “C” or better.

Description: This course is an introductory examination of historical, theoretical, and cross-cultural frameworks related to the study of women and gender. Feminist theories across academic disciplines serve to frame the intersectional exploration and analysis of a variety of issues (i.e. economics, employment, communication, global awareness, history, media, sexuality, etc.) Course is open to students of any gender identity.
