ABE 033 - GED Preparation Group and individualized instruction prepares the student for the GED exam in the Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies sections, as well as for the Arizona Civics section for Arizona test-takers. Areas of study include 9-12 levels of Language Arts (Reading and Writing), Social Studies, and Science. Students progress through the course based on a customized education plan which identifies, through testing, those areas necessary to study.
Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Must be at least 16 years of age and not in high school. Must successfully complete ABE 010 - ABE Orientation , as long as it is being offered that semester. Notes: Grading is “S” (Satisfactory) or “U” (Unsatisfactory), or “PR”(in progress). On-campus classes require attendance.
