SGT 121 - Orientation and Introduction to Surgery

Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of practice as a surgical technologist within various Health Care Facilities. Needs of the surgical patient are explored along with the surgical technologists responsibilities in emergency situations.

Prerequisite: BIO 160 , (BIO 181 , BIO 201 , and BIO 202 are accepted in place of BIO 160 ) MAT 101 or higher,and HES 113 with combined GPA of 2.7 required
