RES 103 - RCP Therapeutics and Equipment with Lab

This course presents theory of equipment, procedures and related concepts used for patients requiring acute and critical cardiopulmonary care. It covers basic respiratory care therapeutics, equipment function, clinical indications and contraindications. Includes study of medical gas therapy and oxygen delivery devices, and basic airway management. This course also includes maintenance and infection control of equipment to be used in the patient care setting.
