RES 104 - RCP Principal Applications of Mechanical Ventilation and Life Support with Lab


This course is designed to introduce the concepts of mechanical ventilation for the adult patient. Includes the physiologic basis of ventilatory support, principles of positive pressure ventilation, determining the need for non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation, assessment of the critically ill patient, interpreting basic waveform graphics, and respiratory monitoring in the intensive care unit.
