DMS 130 - Abdominal Sonography

This course is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in abdominal sonography within the context of a comprehensive diagnostic sonography program. The course emphasizes the acquisition of skills and understanding necessary to perform high-quality abdominal ultrasound examinations. Students will explore the anatomy, pathology, and physiological variations of abdominal organs, with a focus on the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and abdominal vasculature.
