MEA 120 - Introduction to Medical Insurance This course offers an overview of the principles and practices of health insurance. Students will gain knowledge of the types of health insurance plans available, including their coverage and benefits. The course will cover the development of health insurance and the roles of various stakeholders. Students will analyze health insurance policies and contracts, acquiring the skills to interpret insurance documents and manage patient insurance information. Students will learn about navigating provider contracts to assess health insurance plans for claims processing.
