ACT 241 - Paint Defects - Causes and Cures Prerequisite: This course requires a minimum COMPASS reading score of 70 or successful completion of to enroll.
Corequisite: ACT 237
Description: Emphasizes the causes of paint defects and the methods to cure problems during and after refinishing procedures. Students learn to identify the proper surface preparations to apply prior to refinishing. Training includes using paint equipment and determining paint film thickness with proper temperatures for refinishing.
Credits: (3) Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Notes: This course will be retired in May 2015.
