HES 128 - Pharmacology for Health Professionals Applying principles of Pharmacology to clinical situations. Students will learn how different drugs work in the body, how to calculate drug dosages, drug administration routes and procedures. Includes how medications are related to disorders in each body system. Legal and safety considerations, as well as patient care implications will be emphasized throughout the course.
Credits: 3 Prerequisite: HES 113 HES 129 (or BIO 160 or BIO 201 & BIO 202 ) and multiple measures discussion, or appropriate score on placement exam, or completion of MAT 101 .
