PHY 107 - Conceptual Physics Conceptual physics for non-science majors. This class will facilitate students’ understanding of the rules of nature by learning their foundations. Covers forces and motion, conservation laws, heat, fluids, vibrations and waves, electricity and magnetism, and sound and light. Students will study the concepts of physics with a minimum of mathematics.
Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Multiple measures discussion, or appropriate score on placement exam, or completion of TRE 089 and TRM 091 or MAT 101 .
