BIO 400 - Molecular Biology This course examines the relationship between the 3D structure and function of proteins and nucleic acids. Key topics include protein folding, molecular recognition, DNA topology, replication, repair, recombination, RNA synthesis, translation, post-translational modification, and gene expression regulation. Students will strengthen critical thinking through scholarly readings and written analyses of molecular biology concepts.
Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BIO 181, 182, & 200
