Automotive Collision Repair Technology, AAS (ACRD)

The Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Collision Repair Technology prepares students for employment in the areas of basic mechanics, metal working, welding metal and plastics, damage analysis and structural repair, and preparation for painting repaired automobiles. Students also develop skills in the areas of communication, technical writing, and mathematics. Automotive collision repair technicians are hired by automobile dealerships and independent auto body repair shops. As an experienced technician with an AAS, Automotive Collision Repair Technology, the student may also choose to open a business, work as an insurance adjuster, or become a factory representative for industry suppliers. The Automotive Collision Repair Technology program is offered on the Bullhead City Campus in Bullhead City.

Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
