GLG 101 - Physical Geology with Lab


An introduction to geologic processes on and within the Earth. Topics covered include concepts in minerals and rocks, tectonic processes, weathering and erosion, sedimentation, structural deformation, landscape development, and groundwater. Laboratory work and additional field trips are included to provide observational examples of the above topics and to learn geologic field techniques of data gathering.
